Photosynth is amazing. It’s a totally different way of thinking about your pictures.
I wish they talked a little bit about when this might see the light of day.
What was the iPhoto like app that microsoft was working on? That was really cool too.

That ad is pretty great. Very similar to my own thought process.

That ad is fantastic! thousands of little Napoleans sliding on their tummies!
I remember that Microsoft/iPhoto app — Memo’s desktop organizer reminded me of some of the interesting tools for sorting elements. I really like this idea of compositing whole images based on collected images from the world around, maximizing our collective resources!
And, the crazy vector pieces made me think of — have you all tried Live Paint and Live Trace in CS2? Steven tested it out the other night and it is amazing!

As for photo-realistic vector art…meh…all these images are still based on photos!! Heh.
