Virgin Digital “Music Muscle”

A fascinatingly creative marketing video by ad agency Ground Zero, with a fresh, multi-dimensional take on an old “Pythonesque” 2-dimensional collage style.

Each “scene” references a song title, with 45 song references in all.

*This might be old hat ’round here (’twas released last fall), but thought I’d share it anyways. I find the aesthetic absolutely compelling and would love to see exactly how it’s done. Also, this is my first post, so be gentle! ;)

    Glad you liked it!

    So far I’ve spotted:

    “I shot the Sheriff”
    “Tears in Heaven”
    “Purple Rain”
    “Message in a Bottle”
    “Surfing Bird”
    “Another Brink In the Wall”
    “Seven Nation Army”
    “Dancing Queen”
    “God Save the Queen”
    “Piano Man”
    “Blue Suede Shoes”

Ouch..I think I’ve strained my music muscle. Have to rest now.
