recent projects
john, beth, and I were busy bees last month — we were in the running for a fun, extracurricular project for the IFF Boston! We didn’t end up winning the work, but we put together a pretty interesting set of ideas, and I am pretty thrilled at how some of the design concepts have inspired new ideas (and since we aren’t putting out the following set of posters, technically it isn’t “recycling” an idea so much as an “homage” to the idea?)…
After a bunch of brainstorming on how we wanted to shape our campaign (I fell for the style of this Point Blank poster):
and a few iterations on the theme, John came up with this set of posters (note* the big idea here is selling the festival by favorite film genres):
which inspired this adventure poster — I wanted something “western” themed, but also about the cinematic experience!
since we didn’t get the work, I still had this idea/layout playing about in my head… My friend Teddy asked me if I could help him put together a little package for his new Voice Over demos. I heard his samples and it immediately made me think of a “cinematic” experience again (he has a great sonorous voice), so I put together this little CD package!
