Brown Bag Contest
Have you figured out a solution to that vague dissatisfaction you feel after another weekday lunch at the corner pizza shop? Have you discovered the magic of the brown bag lunch? Are you one that even prepares for such thrills over the weekend, whipping up goods to sustain your lunching pleasures all week long? Or, are you looking for inspiration to do so?
GOOD Magazine is having a Brown Bag competition in cahoots with Chow, in the pursuit of “every bite that you take is an opportunity for happiness.” Take that and apply it to your ideal lunch concoction. Wrap it up in a brown bag, take pretty pictures of the contents, and if your elements are homemade, then send in the recipes, too. I have been so excited for this that I made a spinach quiche and chick-pea soup a few weeks ago (when my subscription issue arrived, which I figure was a little early), so I think I am going to have to concoct a new smörgåsbord to submit this week!
