time wit
in addition to my current swedish obsessions over Inspector Wallandar and cardamom, there are now these clocks to consider.
serving a practical purpose is not mutually exclusive with your walls wearing something witty. clocks are one of the things that I have some difficulty in committing to purchase: I like schoolhouse style clocks, plain and simple, but don’t really get tickled over the idea until I contemplate a nelson ball clock, what fun! I like the whimsy in these clocks, both in terms of how they might operate as a little drawing that you catch a glance at, and in serving their ultimate utility. Plus, the absence of a second hand offers relief in that there is no danger of the ticking clutter!
Appropriately named “f.u.n.”, this graphical clock series is designed by skogstad/vold of sweden (whose website is under construction). I do hope they received winning accolades at the stockholm furniture fair, so that they will appear someday soon at a lovely furniture store near me.
