bookclub begins
Nobody Belongs Here More than You has now been read by atleast five of us; hence, it must be time to start a bookclub.
I notched a new page for the guerilla element of the gang: bookmark! Books you like, books you tell your friends about, books you want people to read, all can be marked for the purpose of old-fashioned recommendation and sharing. Instructions are simple: print marks (or make your own), write your recommendations, covertly enter your favorite bookstore, slip a bookmark into your recommended book, document it, then post it! Scavenger hunts, secret messages, and suggestions are all invited.
For the non-caper-inclined, a more traditional bookclub format: first thursdays, bring a book or two, pass them around, and the next month, you’ll have a book buddy with whom to confer. Attempts to browbeat all attendees to read the same book are encouraged, but considered highly unlikely. Reviews and recent recreations can be posted here, under category “Books” please!
