scatter

I was just peeking at the marimekko spring fabrics, which are quite refreshing to my somewhat sedate winter mood, and I noticed yet another object silo scatter print. I like the happy jumble of these (odd, but sometimes kindred objects lined up in formation) and I am curious about its origins (charley harper’s bird collages? or more in the silo obsession?).

the first I spotted would probably be michael leon (my stacks bandit bandana, an early gift from mr. k, circa 2003):
