a few things I am really tickled about this weekend:
1. just received my lines & shapes subscription (with the first three volumes), providing not only ample reading material, but hopefully a spur for 47!

I get very excited about dots. Particularly when they could have a use as textile patterns for A-line mini-dresses in a hit video game that all the kids love. But, that is secondary, of course to just being gruntled by the dots.
Finnish textile design makes me oh so happy! these simple and lovely patterns are from Ivana Helsinki, who also designs clothes, works out of a matchstick factory, and also seems to have an affection for brutal yet passionate folktales.
Coming from a solid liberal arts education, I like to look for inspiration with an interdisciplinary approach. Early adventures in sewing, obsession with
